Your hair strands and made up of over 90% keratin protein. Unfortunately with the quality of our food supply, that does not provide us with enough protein to nourish our bodies and hair follicles. Give your hair the added protein it needs with our hydrolyzed wheat protein treatment. The molecules in this protein treatment are just the right size to enter into your hair strands and that's why you experience reduced breaking and shedding after just one use. In addition, it maintains the hair structure, shape, and strength that keeps your strands looking their best. Without enough protein, your hair can become limp, lifeless, and prone to breakage, causing it to lose its vitality and structure. Maintaining the right balance of moisture and protein in your hair is essential for its health and strength. Too much moisture without sufficient protein can lead to limp, weak hair, a condition known as hygral fatigue. Conversely, too little moisture can leave your hair dry, brittle, and stiff. Achieving this balance, often referred to as moisture/protein balance, is key to maintaining healthy hair.
Knowing when your hair needs a protein treatment is crucial. If your hair feels dry, weak, limp, and lifeless, even with the use of various products and moisturizers, it's a clear indicator that it's time for a protein treatment.
Most natural hair enthusiasts find that a protein treatment every four weeks works well, although individual needs may vary based on the extent of hair damage and the protein content in your daily hair products. Pay close attention to how your hair feels - if it's strong and bouncy, you're on the right track. When it starts to feel weak and limp, it's time for a protein treatment. You'll develop a sense of how often your hair craves these treatments over time.
